THE PURSUITLONDON

The city remembers. But not everything it remembers is true.

The invitation

Every city has a memory.

Some of it is written on plaques. Some is buried beneath the streets. Some survives only because somebody told the story, and somebody else remembered.

You will be handed sealed envelopes — one at a time — and sent out on foot to follow the city's memory for yourself.

But a city hides as much as it keeps. Some of its stories were never true — and some of its most important work was never meant to be seen.

This isn't a scavenger hunt. It's a chance to find out how much of what you think you know is real — and who was behind the rest.

Two ways to play

One city. Two investigations.

The Pursuit comes to London in two distinct editions — pick the one that fits your group. Both are self-guided, roughly two to three hours on foot, and run rain or shine.

For any group

The River Remembers

A walk into what a city keeps — and what it lets go.

Follow the city's story through its oldest crossings and squares, and weigh everything it has to tell you — the documented, the disputed, the legendary, and the things nobody can honestly explain. By the end, the question isn't what happened here. It's how anyone could ever know.

  • You won't just find answers — you'll decide what kind of truth each one is
  • Equal parts history, mystery, and a question you won't see coming
  • No guide and no map — just the city and what it remembers

For the builders & the connected

The Current

Follow the invisible lines that built the city.

Collect a handful of dates that look like they have nothing to do with one another — then watch them snap into a single story, and discover whose work it was all along. You'll think you're chasing history. You're chasing something closer to home.

  • Five clues that look unrelated — until the very end
  • A story hiding in plain sight, across the old downtown
  • A finale that lands hardest on the people who do this work

How it works

Sealed envelopes. One city. No guidebook.

However you play, the shape is the same: a story that unfolds in your hands as you walk, and a reckoning at the end.

✉️

The Sealed Envelopes

Open them one at a time, in order, on the honour system. Each sends your team somewhere new — and the story deepens with every seal you break.

🤝

The Trade-Up

Optional — switch it on if your group wants it. Every team starts with one small trinket and trades it up, charm only and no money, into something better. Best item and best story win at the Tribunal.

⚖️

The Tribunal

Everyone reconvenes for the reveal, where the whole night turns on its head and every team renders its verdict.

☔

Rain or Shine

Weather is no object. If the walk is a no-go, the entire experience runs indoors as a single unforgettable hour.

The answers aren't in a guidebook.

They're in the streets, the squares, and the landmarks that have worn more than one name. You bring the curiosity. The city brings the rest.

Bring it to London

Some of it is true. Some almost certainly isn't.
And some, you'll have to decide for yourself.

Dates for the London editions are being set now. Choose your edition to learn more — or get in touch to bring The Pursuit to your group.
